Food Pantry Item of the Week

Check in Bulletin

Along with several other congregations in the Clericus, we will be participating in a new local, on-going mission effort.

Laundry Love is part of a national initiative that "consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry.   (Click on logo to view Laundry Love website.)

For those living below the poverty line, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship. Laundry Love partners with local laundromats in cleaning the clothes of those living in shelters, motels, cars, garages and on the streets."

The local effort is orchestrated through St. Luke's Episcopal, operating one night each week in the Amagansett laundromat.  The laundromat will supply the soap, while Laundry Love supplies the quarters to operate the machines.

On the small table in the Narthex you will find a labeled container for quarters. (All monies are accepted, but quarters are especially helpful.) Thank you! (Deacons)

Slightly used or new season-appropriate clothes for the homeless may be

placed in the labeled basket in the Narthex, or brought to the Session

House office.  (Tues - Wed - Friday 9am/1pm)
