Shades, a non-profit co-educational a cappella group, has toured domestically and internationally, as far as Costa Rica, Ireland, South Africa, Brazil, Japan, and China. The group has performed with Lenny Kravitz, Angelique Kidjo, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and for Nelson Mandela, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and President Barack Obama
