Mission & Outreach

Mission Partners

  • Heifer International

For generations, Heifer International has provided resources and training for struggling small-scale farmers in order to give them a chance to change their circumstances. But solving hunger and poverty on a global scale requires focus on sound, community-based work aligned with a long-term commitment to achieving self-reliance.

  • Christmas Families

During the Christmas season our church sponsors three local families in need. The Christmas Families Tree hangs in the Narthex at the entrance to the church. Each ornament on the tree lists a specific desired gift. Take an ornament/tag, purchase that gift, place the ornament/tag on top of the wrapped gift, and place it in the designated box in the back of the church, by December 16th.

  • Souper Bowl of Caring

Souper Bowl of Caring is youth across the nation working to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities around the time of the Super Bowl football game.

  • Maureen's Haven

Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach is dedicated to supporting the homeless on the East End of Long Island. We offer supportive services, programs, and access to case management, and our guests can enjoy a meal, get clothes, and have access to basic needs at our Day Center year-round.

  • East Hampton Food Pantry

Founded by a group of caring and committed local people who saw a need and knew they had to do something, The East Hampton Food Pantry opened in 1989. From the basement at the Senior Center to wherever we could serve the hungry were our roots and volunteers who still to this day put their integrity and soul to help others in need.

  • Prayer Shawl Ministry

The making of a prayer shawl is a spiritual practice which embodies our thoughts and prayers for the receiver. It is a gift freely given with no strings attached. Made in prayer, the shawls are passed on hand-to-hand and heart-to-heart.

  • Trauma Pets

The First Presbyterian Church has partnered with both the East Hampton Town Police Department and the East Hampton Village Police Department and is providing the funding for pets to ensure that no child is left alone when confronted with challenging circumstances.

  • Laundry Love

The Laundry Love initiative consists of regular opportunities to come alongside people who are struggling financially by assisting them with their laundry. Laundry Love partners with local laundromats in cleaning clothes and linens of low-income or no-income families and person(s).
